How does Nikaro National Keyholding Work?

We offer our unrivalled service by selecting leading Service Partners (SPs) nationwide – companies who know their local area and are experienced in alarm response services. Using a local network can also offer solutions to many of your keyholding problems. But how does this service actually work?

Each SP is selected on merit, and must conform to NIKARO’s stringent agreement for keyholding and alarm response services, including carrying out work to an audited standard.

One of the key benefits is that we negotiate all contracts centrally, making the process far easier for your company. Once a customer is confirmed, the SP in whose area the work falls is notified. The client is contacted by the SP to arrange a site survey, and to complete draft assignment instructions. These are presented to the customer for signature, and the SP then takes responsibility for the keys. The service then starts on the date specified.

In the event of a call out or alarm activation, the responding SP company submits an incident report by fax to the NIKARO office by 0800 hours each day. Once we are satisfied that all the required information has been provided we will forward this report to you.

Our reporting service allows both of us to monitor the service performance during the critical time – from the alarm activation to response. We record the details of every ‘incident’, and offer a breakdown of alarm activation activity to all clients as part of our service. For national account customers this reporting can either be broken down into regions, or offered in a consolidated format to show our average response time.
