NIKARO was set up in 1996 to fill a requirement to supply a national keyholding and response service to businesses and organisations throughout the UK.

We have been recognised market leaders in the provision of keyholding and response services for over a decade.

In the last 12 months through our national security network the NIKARO network responded to over 4500 alarm activations, breaking down into the following categories:

• 69% False alarms
• 17% Employee errors
• 7% Alarm faults
• 3% Intruders or acts of vandalism
• 4% Client requests to attend

We are very proud of our network's response time performance, which we believe to be the best in the industry.

We are encouraged that only 5% of response times were outside ACPO '20 min' recommendation, and only 4% of Alarm Activation Reports were submitted late.

We are always seeking to improve the quality of our service and as new business develops there are opportunities to increase the network.

Over 40 new companies have been added to the network in the last nine months and five companies were removed. This brings the number of our Service Providers to over 180 members nationwide.
